AN APPEAL
FOR CONTRIBUTION FOR HAVING. OUR OWN OFFICE
Members may kindly recall the discussions and decisions in the last AGM held on 27.08.2025 about having the office of the association in it's own premises. The relevant extract from the minutes of the said meeting is reproduced hereunder:
A. Quote
The General body had a detailed discussions on the matter and unanimously agreed and approved the recommendation of the CEC ( central Executive Committee)that the Association has a fixed common place for maintaining the records and documents properly and running the Association office
B. It has been futher decided and resolved as under:
The General Body gave consent and approval in the matter of empowering the CEC to utilise around Rs 16.0 lakh out of the available fund of around 18.0 lakhs lying in the Association account in case any purchase proposal matures.

Pursuant to the above decisions, searches were on for a suitable place and we have been able to locate a suitable property i.e. a ground floor flat of built up area 620 sq feet (carpet area 550 sq feet) in a G+2 building in Kasba Area. The flat has a separate entry and being at a walking distance of only five minutes from the main road, will be conveniently reachable by the members.
However, the tentative cost including registration works out to around 24.00 lakhs. Hence as per the availibility of fund there is a clear shortfall of around Rs 8.0 lakhs but given that we are 789 members as on date and the number is continuously increasing it does not seem to pose any real problem to bridge the gap if we all put a step forward to support the cause.
Accordingly, we fervently appeal to our members to donate any amount in multiples of Rs 1000.00 which will go a long way to give reality to our dream of having the CILREWA Office in it's own premises.
